Depuis son appel \u00e0 quitter sa patrie (Gen\u00e8se 12:1, \u05dc\u05b6\u05da\u05b0-\u05dc\u05b0\u05da\u05b8\u059b <em>lekh lekha<\/em>) jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la s\u00e9paration d&rsquo;avec Isma\u00ebl (Gen\u00e8se 21:14), chaque \u00e9preuve renforce sa confiance en Dieu. Dans la Gen\u00e8se 22, Abraham est familiaris\u00e9 avec les exigences divines, mais l&rsquo;ordre de sacrifier Isaac &#8211; son fils ch\u00e9ri et l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritier des promesses de Dieu &#8211; repr\u00e9sente l&rsquo;apog\u00e9e de sa mise \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve. Cette r\u00e9ponse ouvre la voie \u00e0 l&rsquo;exploration de la foi dans l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve, en soulignant la confiance in\u00e9branlable d&rsquo;Abraham.<\/p>\n<h3>Le voyage \u00e0 Moriah : Silence et ob\u00e9issance<\/h3>\n<p>L&rsquo;ob\u00e9issance d&rsquo;Abraham est rapide : \u00ab\u00a0Le lendemain matin, de bonne heure, Abraham sella son \u00e2ne, prit deux de ses serviteurs et son fils Isaac, fendit le bois pour l&rsquo;holocauste et se mit en route\u00a0\u00bb (Gen\u00e8se 22,3). L&rsquo;absence de dialogue souligne son engagement, ce qui contraste avec ses n\u00e9gociations ant\u00e9rieures au sujet de Sodome (Gen\u00e8se 18:22-33). Le voyage de trois jours vers Moriah, qui culmine lorsqu&rsquo;Abraham aper\u00e7oit le lieu \u00ab\u00a0de loin\u00a0\u00bb (Gen\u00e8se 22:4), renforce la tension du r\u00e9cit. L&rsquo;ob\u00e9issance d&rsquo;Abraham prouve sa \u05d9\u05b4\u05e8\u05b0\u05d0\u05b7\u05a3\u05ea \u05d0\u05b1\u05dc\u05b9\u05d4\u05b4\u0594\u05d9\u05dd <em>yirat Elohim<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0crainte de Dieu\u00a0\u00bb), qui d\u00e9note la loyaut\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9gard de l&rsquo;alliance (Gen\u00e8se 20:11). Dieu fournit un b\u00e9lier, qu&rsquo;Abraham offre \u00e0 la place d&rsquo;Isaac, nommant le site \u05d9\u05b0\u05d4\u05d5\u05b8\u05a3\u05d4 \u05c0 \u05d9\u05b4\u05e8\u05b0\u05d0\u05b6\u0591\u05d4 <em>Adonai Yireh<\/em> (\u00ab\u00a0Le Seigneur verra\/provoira\u00a0\u00bb, Gen\u00e8se 22:14).
