Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Eyzenberg

Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Eyzenberg is the head of school at Israel Institute of Biblical Studies and founder of Israel Bible Center.

He holds Ph.D. degree in Ancient Cultures from Stellenbosch University (2011). His additional research was conducted at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem as well as Leiden and Princeton university.

Dr. Eli Lizorkin-Eyzenberg asks questions many people don't ask and makes connections many people don't make. Because of this he does not think that the Bible needs to be rewritten, but that it needs to be carefully reread.

I liked how the writer used his knowledge of Hebrew to explain the depth of meaning to words and phrases. The stories were well written and very interesting to the Bible Scholar. Have done my own word studies, I know him to be correct. He is not the first to write a commentary on these stories but he has written a very interesting discussion.
