I don’t believe the Bible needs to be rewritten, but I’m convinced it desperately needs to be reread with fresh eyes.

What is the practical differences between Jewish Studies for Christians, Israel Bible Center and Israel Institute for Biblical Studies and your affliation with each?
IIBS is a school of Biblical Hebrew (mainly) accredited by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with teaching conducted LIVE in small groups. I serve as a dean of that school. Israel Bible Center is also an online school, but everything is on demand (like Netflix). Jewish Studies for Christians is unrelated to them; it is my ministry for which I provide my research and teaching for free. I am particularly focused on languages other than English and countries that are underserved wigh great Hebraic teaching. Trust this helps! Thank you for asking.

I appreciate you sharing your understanding of the Law and how Jesus fulfilled it. Jesus fulfilling the Law is one of the most crucial elements of our faith in Christ. Your explanations are well done and help us understand the Law.
That said, we are not under any obligation to make observances from the Law as part of our lives. To encourage Christians to participate in the observances and rituals of the Law misses this point. The Law was our schoolmaster to bring us to Christ, and because of Christ, we are no longer under a school master.

First, I apologize for bothering you with my impertinent and stupids questions.
I'm currently taking Kabbalah classes, and even a Christian woman interested in it isn't considered Orthodox.
Furthermore, "I'm like a widow" from a previous Catholic marriage. I've been caring for my husband, who has dementia, for 15 years. He's in a care facility, but little by little, this husband has become, first, a roommate, then my brother/friend, whom I wish no harm to. I'm his caregiver, not his wife, but rather his administrative and his representant for his wellbeing servant. My new boyfriend of four years is Hindu, so imagine the chaos...
He's also interested in studies, but in Jewish behavior and in Jews in general as a cosmopolitan people, given the large number of Jews overrepresented in the sciences, arts, finance, law, and business, where they excel. He'd like to understand how they achieve this.
Speaking of Orthodoxy, why do some Orthodox Jews spit on Christians, and why is this violence so frequent in Israel? Could someone explain to me what Orthodox Jews hate so much about Christians?
But apparently, this is even seen in non-Orthodox Jews.
(I'm not talking about all the atrocities we committed during the great wars, but about understanding what motivates these acts of violence instilled from a very young age, and we observe the same phenomenon among Muslims.) I ask myself the same questions, where Muslims respond indiscriminately to texts that have been altered with a mixture of texts reinterpreted by the early Sultans (and relatives of Muhammad) after Muhammad's death. In short, many questions that go beyond your studies but are worth exploring. I wanted to thank you for your excellent work; I love your teachings—they're a breath of fresh air in this dark world.
The reasons for these persistent acts of barbarity remain unknown. Why, moreover, is it happening primarily in Israel?

Dear Irene, shalom. You have raised too many excellent questions for me to address in one comment. Perhaps you can explore this article—https://jewishstudiesforchristians.com/war-https://jewishstudiesforchristians.com/war-bible-and-nation/ ungodly and uncivilized behavior of minority of orthodox Jews' feelings towards Christians are due to many factors, central among which is understanding that Christ worship is idol worship. Naturally, they are mistaken (veil over their eyes). See Romans 11. In Israel, however, when violators are caught, they are punished in accordance with the law like any other criminals perpetuating hate crimes.

I think your analysis is very possible. Rome under Caesar needed the authority to declare itself master of all,something Julius began by instilling himself into Romes religious institutions and also creating a new calendar, from whence the gregorian calendar derives. Pilate seems to be using the political ploy of being the man with the power to decide one way or the other,using it for empirical purposes,but denying responsibility.

From a biblical Hebraic view, what is the difference, if any, of on “seeing” and one receiving his “sight”. I know one centers on physical actual vision and one perhaps deals with perspective. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Shalom, Bill. Seeing and receiving sight has to be looked at not from Hebraic vs. not Hebraic perspective (I think) but from what Judeo-Greek of the Gospels actually says, that's the starting point. Then and only then could we be asking questions like what Hebrew or Aramaic was spoken by Jesus before it was made into the GOspel in the Greek language.

I have been wondering what the significance of the two leavened loaves at Shavuot/pentecost are in contrast to the unleavened bread emphasized at Passover. I have some ideas but I would live to have your perspective.

Hardening someone's heart in the Bible is an old-fashined expression of letting someone to do evil they have desired to do in their heart already.
