Just today I had a wonderful Zoom meeting with someone special who has followed my teaching ministry for years! He is originally from Tanzania. Meeting people like Dr. Paul Wabike today is to realize that Isaiah 2 is already being fullfilled!
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord (אֶל-הַר-יְהוָה),
to the temple of the God of Jacob (אֶל-בֵּית אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב).
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law/Torah will go out from Zion (כִּי מִצִּיּוֹן תֵּצֵא תוֹרָה),
the word of the Lord from Jerusalem (וּדְבַר-יְהוָה מִירוּשָׁלִָם).
(Isaiah 2:3)

Your teachings have helped me better understand the Bible, as you give the Hebrew meaning of some of the words. They are practical lessons, and have strengthen my faith, remembering God's words.

Shalom Dr. Eli, I enjoy your articles very much. I first heard you speak over 10 years ago when I was taking Hebrew classes and webinars. I lived in Montana, but
due to age (90 years) I am living in Franklin, Tennessee where I am closer to my daughter and her family. I still love to pursuing Hebrew culture, history, and

Good Morning Dr. Eli! I was born and raised in Puyallup, Washington USA. Puyallup is named after the Puyallup Indian tribe, meaning “Friendly People”. I have really enjoyed getting to know scripture as it was intended to be understood. So many of our western ideas, culture and world view has shaped how we interpret the Bible and God. I have found a much kinder Lord and Savior in your teaching and it is very much appreciated. I am glad that my children will never know the god I grew up with. I strive now to show them who He really is.

I am a dyed-in-the-wool Mormon and served a 2-year mission when I was younger. Having said that, I have been very appreciative of the insights that Dr. Eli's letters have given me over the last 10 years. I have printed and kept many letters and have a specific file for them.
I have very much enjoyed his translation from the ancient Hebrew language to our current-day spoken English.
This makes it instructional for me rather than reading the bible and erroneously thinking I am capturing the underlying message.
So many, many thanks to the doctor for his insightful letters, and please know that I have a great love and appreciation for our Hebrew people.
